Ramblings of a Texas Housewife: My Favorite Drink of the Season - Wassail Recipe
When I was a child, my Nanny would make wassail during the holidays. She would make her “grown up” version and then some just for me. Mine was pretty much just a hot spiced cider, but I loved it. Now that I’m an adult, this is the wassail I make for the holidays. It is so good and makes your house smell great!
Wassail
1 bottle dry red wine
2 cups cranberry juice cocktail
1 cup sugar
1 cup water
1/3 cup lemon juice
4 cinnamon sticks
1/4 cup brandy
