My favorite drink is: Poinsettia Mimosas I found this recipie a few years ago and thought it was great. Here’s how you make it:

Poinsettia Mimosas

Ingredients

* 3 or 4 tangerines (optional)
* Maraschino cherries (optional)
* 3 cups cranberry juice, chilled
* 1/4 cup Triple Sec, other orange liqueur, or orange juice
* 2 tablespoons maraschino cherry juice or grenadine syrup
* 1 750-milliliter bottle champagne or sparkling apple juice, or one 32-ounce bottle carbonated water or lemon-lime carbonated beverage, chilled

Hot Cranberry Tea

1 bottle (32 ounces) cranberry juice
2 cups sugar
1 can (6 ounces) frozen orange juice concentrate
3/4 cup thawed lemonade concentrate
1/3 cup red-hot candies
1 cinnamon stick
2 whole cloves

Some Hot Chocolate Goodness from BugaBoos Creations:

SnowFlake Cocoa

2 cups whipping cream
6 cups milk
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 (12 ounce) package white chocolate chips
Garnish:
Whipped cream
Candy canes

Directions

Stir together the whipping cream, milk, vanilla, and white chocolate chips in a slow cooker.
Cover and cook on low for 2 to 2 1/2 hours, stirring occasionally, until mixture is hot and chocolate chips are melted. Stir again before serving. Garnish with whipped cream and candy canes, as desired.

I love to that you can make this in your slow cooker for parties!! You could always use milk chocolate to if your not a fan of white chocolate :)

When did I Become my Mom?: Mocha Meditation:

Mocha Meditation 14 Ghiradelli (60% cocoa) chocolate chips 1 tbsp honey Evaporated milk Ginger (fresh) ½ tsp instant coffee In a 10 oz mug, put 14 chocolate chips and just barely cover with honey (or to taste). Add just enough evaporated milk to cover the chocolate and honey. Grate 1/4 tsp ginger on top the mixture. Place mug into small pan of water and put on stove on medium heat. Watch it closely, this step is just to melt the chocolate. In a kettle, boil some water at the same time. As soon as the chocolate melts, take the mug out of the pan and stir the contents together until creamy. Top up the mug with hot water from the kettle and stir.

* Top off with whipping cream
* Add some mini marshmallows
* Garnish with chocolate shavings
* Add some of your favorite coffee creamer
* Add a candy cane for a festive touch

The Chocolate Milk Whip - A Family Full Of Opinions - A Family Full Of Opinions:

The Chocolate Milk Whip

4 oz. chocolate milk
2 oz cold coffee
whipped creme
shaved chocolate
dash of vanilla
optional 1 oz. Bailey’s (for an individual cocktail)

Directions
Fill a tall glass with ice. Add 4 oz. chocolate milk and 2 oz. cold coffee. A dash of vanilla. Top with whipped cream and garnish with shaved chocolate.

It’s cold…brrrr….bring on the Ginger Chai!!

It’s becoming a little nippy here and I’m not really one of those “I love winter” kinda gals. I’d rather be indoors with socks and a sweater on, covered with a nice thick blanket. As soon as the weather gets a little nippy, I just have to have my favorite ‘warmer’ of all….Ginger Chai.(‘Chai’ is what we call tea in India)

We Desi folk are all for Chai….when the weather’s chilly outside or you have some welcome thunder showers, grab a vessel to brew 3 teacups of delish Ginger Chai….

Holiday Traditions - Scandinavian Gløgg | first-time-mommy.com:

One tradition the Norwegian people have is Gløgg or Glögg, as the Swedish spell it is more of a Swedish tradition and is a drink that is made during Advent season. Glögg is traditionally made with red wine but there are also non-alcoholic versions, which is the kind we drink. Almonds and raisins are usually added to it but are not necessary. December in Scandinavia is a dark, wintry time, and this hot drink helps keep the spirits cheered.

We actually receive our Gløgg directly from Norway but you can purchase it at Ikea.
